Roadmap watch: what to expect for Microsoft Teams at Ignite (and beyond)

The public roadmap for Microsoft Teams is already listing a lots of features for March 2021. Since Microsoft Ignite 2021 is happening next week it is easy to assume that these features scheduled for March will be released – or at least talked about – at Microsoft Ignite. Some of these might be even start rolling out at the event-time, but there is no certainty about that.

At the event itself I am quite confident we will get lots of new items for April-July timeframe concerning Microsoft Teams.

Looking on the current roadmap the big thing will be Microsoft Teams Virtual Events . I have bolded the most lines related to those.

Note: there are some great additions like Forms Polls improvements, AI based poll question suggestions, data reports for polls after Teams meetings, open-text questions for meeting polls and meeting poll word clouds.
