Roadmap update: externals access to Whiteboard in a Microsoft Teams meeting delayed to March 2021

Looking at the roadmap updates this got my eye:

The long awaited feature that would allow

Whiteboard: External access in Teams meetings
Any guests, external or anonymous users in a Teams meeting can view and collaborate on the whiteboard during the meeting. They will not have continued access to the whiteboard after the meeting ends.

is delayed until March 2021.

This is again a good reminder that the roadmap is a not a promise of a release schedule but the best estimate. I like that they have the courage to push unfinished features further instead of releasing them buggy. It is not fun when much needed features are delayed but it is better than having them out in a condition that causes issues.
